PumpToUnlock ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the PumpToUnlock mobile application.

• No account required. You start right away.
• No personal data collected by us
• No data stored on our servers
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking
• No data sold or shared

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

• Your selection of apps to block
• Your intensity settings (push-ups and earned minutes)
• Your minute bank balance and push-up progress

This data stays on your device. Deleting the app removes all stored data.

3. Camera Usage and Push-Up Detection

PumpToUnlock uses your front camera to count push-ups.

• We use Google ML Kit Pose Detection to detect your body posture. On top of this, we apply our own tracking logic for accurate push-up counting.
• All image processing happens in real time on your device.
• We do not record, store, or upload photos or videos.
• No camera images leave your device.

You control camera access anytime in your device settings.

4. Google ML Kit

Pose detection runs on your device through Google ML Kit. According to Google, the ML Kit SDK sends limited technical data to Google for diagnostics and performance, such as device model, operating system version, and performance metrics. This data contains no camera images and no personal content.

5. Screen Time and App Blocking

PumpToUnlock uses Apple's Screen Time framework to block the apps you select.

• Apple handles your app selection through protected tokens. We do not see which apps you use or how long you use them.
• All Screen Time data stays on your device and is managed by Apple.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. We have no access to your data.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• All app data remains on your device.
• Deleting the app removes all stored data.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR and other privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Because we do not collect personal data, we hold no data about you. For questions, use the contact details below.

9. Children's Privacy

PumpToUnlock does not collect data from any user, including children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We update this Privacy Policy when our practices change. The date at the top of this section shows the latest version.

Common Questions

The app does not count my push-ups.
Place your iPhone on the floor in front of you, with the front camera facing you. Make sure your whole upper body is visible and the room has enough light.

My blocked apps do not lock.
Check that PumpToUnlock has Screen Time access in your iPhone settings.

Do I need an account?
No. PumpToUnlock works without an account and without sign-up.
